Documentation Management is the EicasLab feature that allows you to create and manage all the necessary documentation for your EicasLab projects, creating links between EicasLab objects and external documents for requirements and/or design reviews and traceability.

Documentation management allows you to establish links – identified by user defined tags - between any SIMBUILDER block and selected parts of documents.
The currently supported document types are:
- word processor files,
- spreadsheet files,
- web pages (URLs).
It is possible to use word and spreadsheet documents created with the Microsoft Office suite (on Windows) or with any of the two free suites OpenOffice and LibreOffice (available both on Windows and Linux).
With the URLs type it is possible to establish links between a block and any Web page.
