ABSTRACT: |
The paper intends to present the goals of the ACODUASIS Project, a three-years project founded by the European Commission in the frame of the Innovation Program aiming at transferring - with reference to the specific sector of robotics - the techniques and methodologies of automatic control design already developed and successfully experimented by EICAS in automatic control design on automotive and space field. The following innovative aspects can be highlighted: “automated algorithms and code generation”, “model identification”, “control parameters numerical optimisation” and “default fine model class”. A customised simulator will be specifically developed for robotics. The resulting product will reduce time spent in the design phase and will increase companies competitiveness and reduce the time to response. |

ABSTRACT: |
The paper intends to present an application of techniques and methodologies of automatic control design - already developed and successfully experimented by EICAS in automatic control design - to the control of the ACUREX field of the Plataforma Solar de Almería (PSA). The application has been realised within the ACODUASIS Project, a three-years project founded by the European Commission in the frame of the Innovation Program aiming at transferring to the ro botics sector the EICAS methodology by means of the high professional software tool named EicasLab. The following innovative aspects can be highlighted: “automated algorithms and code generation”, “model identification”, “control parameters numerical optimisation” and “default fine model class”. The use of EicasLab reduces time spent in the design phase, increases companies’ competitiveness and reduces the time to response. |
